Role OverviewAs a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Coordinator, you will lead daily laboratory operations while ensuring high-quality diagnostic services, regulatory compliance and team development.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinating and leading daily laboratory operations, including scheduling and supervisory responsibilities
- Prioritizing, delegating, and overseeing all phases of the laboratory process
- Ensuring adherence to all laboratory policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Overseeing quality assurance and quality management programs and addressing process deviations
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and system-wide requirements, including proficiency testing
- Leading staff education, training, and competency validation
- Serving as a mentor, trainer, and resource for laboratory team members
- Assisting with data collection and monitoring to support laboratory performance goals
- Supporting operational leadership responsibilities in the absence of a manager or supervisor
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science OR a related Clinical Science field
- 4 Years of Clinical laboratory experience
- State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
