Part-Time CT Technologist

Role Overview :

The Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, preparing and positioning patients, ensuring image quality, and following safety protocols. They collaborate with radiologists, maintain equipment, document procedures, and adapt to various protocols across healthcare settings.

• Operate CT equipment to generate diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures
• Set technical parameters for accurate imaging
• Provide high-quality images for interpretation
• Follow safety standards to minimize radiation exposure
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Accurately document patient and procedural information
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostics
• Adapt to different equipment and protocols
• Perform additional duties within CT Tech scope as needed

• Recent CT Technologist experience (minimum one year)
• Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification
• Preferred ARRT certification
• Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
• Physical ability to move and manipulate equipment
• Effective teamwork and professionalism
• Technical proficiency and attention to detail
• Ability to handle stressful situations and work independently
• Visual acuity and effective communication skills
