Are you passionate about patient care and making a difference with every interaction? Boone Memorial Health is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team!

Every blood draw is more than a procedure—it's an opportunity to provide comfort, reassurance, and quality care to our patients.

As a phlebotomist, you'll play a vital role in our laboratory by:

• Collecting routine, timed, and STAT blood specimens
• Correctly identifying patients before specimen collection
• Providing compassionate care to patients of all ages—from newborns to geriatrics
• Safely transporting specimens following infection prevention guidelines
• Collecting chain-of-custody specimens when required
• Answering laboratory phone calls and responding appropriately to patient and staff needs

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Great time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• A commitment to patient safety and quality care

• Certification from an accredited Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant program
• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when necessary
