Job Summary:

Back-to-School Shifts - Work While the Children are in School! Join Right at Home Morgantown, a leading home care franchise system, as a Personal Caregiver! We offer a dynamic and rewarding work environment where you can make a difference in the lives of seniors and vulnerable adults in their homes. As a caregiver, you will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services to our clients.

• Provide services in accordance with an established plan of care, including:

  • Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home
  • Performing housekeeping activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundry
  • Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions and specialized diets
  • Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
  • Personal Care:
    Bathing, Showering, Dressing, Shaving, Assistance with Dressing
  • Medication reminders
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Dementia care
  • Companionship activities, such as reading, music, and puzzles

• Observe and Report changes in the client's condition or intake condition

• Check vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen

• Assist with change of ostomy appliances

• Reinforce dressings (non-sterile)

• Measure intake and output

• High School Graduate or G.E.D Certificate Preferred
• Must be able to pass a background, fingerprint, and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds without assistance
• Have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
• Current and valid CPR and First Aid

• Competitive hourly rate of $14 - $17

• Professional Caregivers (SUPERHEROS) may be chosen to participate in Nurse-led training to assist in nurse-delegated procedures (dependent on client demand)
