Caregiver – REM West Virginia

Pay: $14.75 hourly with On Demand Pay Options. Full Time Day/ Evening Position Available, Driver's License Required.

Each day you will help people grow, learn, and live well. You will develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve, take the initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities, and support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition. You will assist with personal hygiene and provide support to individuals with behavioral challenges, including autism and related conditions.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred).
• Skills:
  
  Cooking, cleaning, assisting with personal care (eating, dressing, bathing, toileting) and the ability to stay calm and problem‑solve in stressful situations.
• Behaviors:
  Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle:
  Valid driver’s license; access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance for some positions.
