SummaryUnder the direction of the clinical manager, assists with patient transport, screening, room set up and prepares patient for exam. Prepares contrast for exam and loads contrast injector as necessary. Provides patient education as instructed by the Imaging Technologist and performs patient education documentation in the patient electronic record. Follows magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) Level II training requirements and standards, where applicable.
Works with clinical staff to meet department turnaround times and maintain appropriate exam start times. Responsibilities may be expanded or restricted at the discretion of the manager, based upon patient volumes and/or the needs of the department.
experience (for inpatient/hospital positions only): 6 months Hospital Transport or Hospital in related field
PreferredBusiness related, imaging services, or medical office experience
Education Essential- HS Graduate or Equivalent GED
- High School or Equivalent
- Basic Life Support
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
