Rivers Health is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant.

Renders patient care and a variety of procedures under supervision of

• Delivers and documents care according to hospital policies,

procedures and philosophies.

• Follows strict aseptic technique at all times. Uses sterile

technique when indicated.

• Observes and reports all patient concerns and changes in condition
• Safely transports patients, supplies, and specimens.
• Respects patient's privacy rights, respects values of individual

patients, and provides care accordingly.

• Assists with orientation of new employees.
• Completes all annual competencies.
• Assists with unit cleanliness.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned.
• Complies with Corporate Policies, Procedures and Personnel Employee

Handbook.

• Must be able to cross-train to other units.
• Demonstrates excellence in customer service skills.
• Fosters an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration. Participates in
• Participates in quality improvement activities including serving on

quality improvement teams.

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING
:

Basic ability to read, write and understand simple instructions. CPR

required. Meet unit proficiency standards. High school graduate or

equivalent required. BLS required.

WORK EXPERIENCE
:

Previous experience in health care facility delivering direct patient care preferred.
