We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience while supporting the efficient operation of our medical practice. Key Responsibilities:- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient information and update medical records accurately
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Handle patient check-in and check-out processes
- Collect and process payments, insurance information, and co-pays
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations and confidentiality standards
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus
- Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and office software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
