CNA - Long Term Care/SNF

Seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care (LTC) for a 6-week contract to provide direct resident care in a long-term care setting. The CNA will assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor changes in condition, and work closely with the nursing team to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered care. Candidates must be flexible to work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend, with an ASAP start.

Requirements:

• Current CNA certification required
• Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
• BLS certification preferred
• Ability to work a rotating schedule with every other weekend required
• Strong communication, teamwork, and observation skills
• Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach to care
• ASAP availability preferred

Responsibilities include assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, ambulation, and transfers; obtaining and documenting vital signs; observing and reporting changes in resident condition; assisting with admissions and discharges; maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment; supporting restorative and rehabilitative care plans; documenting care accurately in the electronic medical record; following infection prevention and safety protocols; collaborating with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team;

and providing compassionate, high-quality care that promotes residents' comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.
