Medical Assistant - Float - Primary and Express Care Teams

IHCWV is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our growing team. If you like keeping a clinic running smoothly and making patients feel welcome, this role is for you.

• Room patients, take vitals, and gather histories
• Support providers during exams and procedures
• Perform point-of-care testing, injections, and EKGs as trained
• Prep and maintain exam rooms
• Enter accurate information into the EHR
• Be a friendly, reassuring face for patients when they need one

• Medical Assistant certification or graduation from an accredited MA program
• Current BLS (or willingness to obtain it)
• Strong communication and a real heart for patient care
• Comfort with a fast pace and a team environment
• Clinic experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person
