Position Overview:
The Nipigon District Family Health Team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources & Operations Manager to provide strategic and operational HR leadership across 3 Family Health Teams (FHTs) of Greenstone, North Shore and Nipigon District. This shared role will be preformed predominantly remotely with the expectation that the employee travel to each of the 3 FHTs on occasion for in-person tasks;
for this reason the successful candidate must live in the Thunder Bay District.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes across all three FHTs
- Develop, implement, and optimize HR practices across three independent FHTs
- Maintain organizational policies and procedures, and related documentation
- Lead the oranization’s OH&S and Privacy programs, including organizing staff mandatory annual training
- Support the oranization’s performance management and attendance management programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in HR in a healthcare setting is an asset
- Proficiency with EMR systems and standard office software
- Experience as a Privacy Officer is an asset
- Certified OH&S training is an asset
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment
- Valid driver’s licence and satisfactory OPP Vulnerable Sector Check
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
