The Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology ISIT offers in Itzehoe a future-oriented research and production environment with a technology-oriented equipment park, two clean rooms, and approx. 700 m² laboratory space for a total of approx. 190 employees and several location partners.
As a bridge builder between research and pre-development on the one hand and commercial application on the other, the Fraunhofer ISIT is an exciting employer with innovative future prospects. In the management center, we support the administrative activities of our scientists. In the human resources department, we support our employees with relevant topics and implement all personnel measures that arise in the course of an employee's life cycle.
Furthermore, the colleagues take care of personnel marketing and recruiting as well as personnel development. We are looking for a work student to support the human resources department at Fraunhofer ISIT starting September 1, 2026, who enjoys working with people. Here you will support us in the following areas:
Support in the creation of work references (coordination, creation, and sending)
Support and recruitment of work students, interns, and volunteers
Participation in the recruitment process: advertising of job vacancies, documentation of candidate profiles, and maintenance of the recruitment system
Support in the coordination of interviews: internal appointment finding including room organization and invitation of candidates
Accompanying the onboarding process, e.g., by creating information folders for newly hired staff, supporting the department, and preparing and conducting the onboarding event
Maintenance and updating of personnel files
Support in the time recording
Support and accompaniment in the operational day-to-day business
You bring in:
- You are a registered student in business psychology, business administration, or a comparable course of study with a focus on human resources.
- Previous training or internship experience is an advantage.
- Good organizational skills as well as a structured and independent working method characterize you.
- Thanks to your open and empathetic nature, it is easy for you to approach people actively.
- You have a quick understanding and can bring your own solution proposals.
- You can perform your tasks in German and English and are confident in using MS Office.

The monthly working hours are 60 or 80. Employment, remuneration, and social benefits are based on the collective bargaining agreement for the public service (TVöD).
