Role Description

The HR Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Jane Lew, WV. This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, recordkeeping, and administering HR policies and procedures. The HR Generalist will assist with benefits and payroll coordination, manage employee relations matters, and support performance management processes. The role includes handling recruitment activities such as posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.

The HR Generalist will collaborate with managers to ensure compliance with employment laws, maintain accurate HR documentation, and contribute to employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Experience in core HR functions such as employee relations, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and compliance.
  • Skills in recruitment and talent acquisition, including job posting, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and data management skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with employees, managers, and external partners.
  • Ability to interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and standard office software; comfort learning new systems and tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in handling sensitive situations.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is beneficial.
