Human Resources Assistant

• 1. High School Diploma or Equivalent

• 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field

• 1. Assists with all employee data using HRIS, personnel files and educational files.
• 2. Assists in obtaining all employment-related information including employment references, criminal background check, primary source license verification, employment offers, I-9, etc.
• 3. Assists with screening, evaluating, and prioritizing visitors and telephone calls in an appropriate manner.
• 4. Assists new employee Orientation packets.
• 5. Serves as a support staff for other Human Resources Members.
• 6. Assists with hospital activities and community projects as assigned (RRR, bi-annual picnic, Hospital week, etc.).
• 7. Performs other clerical duties as assigned for HR, including but not limited to filing, editing, typing, etc.
• 9. Assists with creating new and replacement employee s and maintains accurate information in the badge system.
• 10. Schedules meetings, prepares/maintains monthly calendars, securing times and contacting appropriate individuals.

• 1. Prolonged sitting, standing, walking and typing.
• 2. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

• 1. Standard office environment.

• 1. Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Products.
• 2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• 3. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
