Location: Kearneysville
Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect (MECM) Responsibilities:
• Architect, implement, and maintain MECM environments for enterprise endpoint management.
• Deploy, configure, and optimize Adaptiva One Site for content distribution and endpoint performance.
• Develop, test, and deploy software packages, updates, and patches using MECM and Adaptiva.
• Create and maintain task sequences for automated OS deployments and upgrades.
• Ensure endpoints comply with organizational security policies and standards.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for MECM and Adaptiva-related issues, including client health and content distribution.
• Develop Power Shell scripts and automation solutions to streamline endpoint management tasks.
• Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Generate and analyze reports on software deployments, compliance, and system health.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years (or commensurate expertise). Required Skills and Experience
• Clearance:
Active Secret clearance.
•
Certifications:
DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
•
Experience:
5+ years of direct experience leading or supporting MECM and Adaptiva projects in a large environment.
• MECM Expertise:
Hands-on experience architecting and managing MECM environments in large-scale enterprise settings.
• Adaptiva Integration:
Proven experience integrating Adaptiva with MECM for optimized content delivery.
• Windows Server Administration:
Strong understanding of Windows Server platforms (2012–2025) and core services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS).
• Imaging and Deployment:
Experience with Windows imaging, task sequences, and driver management.
• Virtualization:
Proficiency with VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Automation:
Advanced scripting skills in Power Shell for automation and system management.
• Documentation:
Skilled in creating clear, detailed documentation for system configurations and operational procedures. Preferred
Skills and Experience:
• Experience supporting DoD or U.S. Coast Guard environments.
• Microsoft
Certifications:
Endpoint Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
• Cloud
Experience:
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Networking:
Understanding of load balancing, network infrastructure concepts, and content distribution challenges.
• Communication:
Ability to write and present clear reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
