Location: Buffalo

Role Overview

As an L3 Support Technician, you will provide high-level technical expertise in a complex manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for supporting enterprise automation efforts, integrating robotics (AMR/AGV/VGV) with IT infrastructure, and maintaining critical server and network operations.

Location: Buffalo, WV - Fully Onsite

Employment Type: W2 (no C2C)

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure & Network Ops:
    Perform "Smart Hands" support for servers and network hardware. Conduct wireless audits, manage switch installations, and monitor infrastructure health via PRTG, DNAC and Nagios.
  • Automation & Robotics:
    Evaluate and implement robotics technologies; maintain integrations between autonomous vehicles and third‑party fleet management systems.
  • Maintenance & Facilities:
    Handle telecom room inspections, power/HVAC preventative maintenance coordination, and execute hot‑swap operations on mission‑critical equipment.
  • Escalation Support:
    Act as the primary escalation point for L2 technicians and production teams; lead troubleshooting for high‑priority incidents (P1–P3).
  • Vendor & Project Management:
    Coordinate with external vendors; support site‑wide infrastructure refreshes, server rack configurations and plant shutdown activities.
  • On‑Call:
    Participate in a rotation to monitor system alerts and provide emergency on‑site support for production‑critical issues.
Top Requirements
  • Advanced Technical Support:
    Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux OS, as well as end‑user device support.
  • Networking Expertise:
    Deep understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP protocols and network administration.
  • Infrastructure

    Skills:

    Experience with server hardware, data center maintenance and cabling (network drops/power).
  • Analytical Problem‑Solving:
    Ability to diagnose complex issues across networking and infrastructure layers.
  • Communication:
    Strong verbal and written skills for documenting standard work and coordinating with senior analysts.
