Digital Data Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Data Analyst to support the development, management, and visualization of operational data across our digital platforms. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to structure, transform, and deliver high-quality data from Cognite Data Fusion into Power BI dashboards and support related Power Apps solutions.
The ideal candidate understands how industrial data flows from source systems into reporting tools and can translate business needs into scalable, reliable data models and applications.
This role will play a key part in enabling data-driven decision making across operations, maintenance, and site leadership.
Responsibilities- Data Management & Cognite
- Work with Cognite Data Fusion to access, structure, and maintain industrial data tables
- Perform data transformations and manipulations to ensure accurate and usable datasets
- Validate data integrity and troubleshoot inconsistencies between source systems and reporting outputs
- Collaborate with engineers, digital teams, and business stakeholders to define data requirements
- Maintain documentation of data models, table structures, and data flows
- Power BI Development & Support
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights for operational and leadership teams
- Develop data models, relationships, and calculations (DAX measures)
- Optimize reports for performance, usability, and clarity
- Ensure dashboards reflect current business logic and data definitions
- Support troubleshooting and enhancements for existing reports
- Power Platform Support (Power Apps)
- Assist with development and maintenance of Power Apps used to capture or interact with operational data
- Ensure data integration between Power Apps, SharePoint, and Power BI
- Help improve user experience and ensure apps support reporting needs
- Support governance and best practices for Power Platform solutions
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work with Digital, Operations, and IT teams to identify opportunities to improve data visibility
- Support development of standardized metrics and KPIs
- Assist in building scalable solutions that reduce manual reporting
- Document processes and provide knowledge sharing across teams

Expected:
- Experience working with industrial or operational data environments
- Familiarity with Cognite Data Fusion or similar data platforms
- Experience building reports in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query)
- Basic experience with Power Apps
- Understanding of relational data concepts
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Desirable:
- Experience in manufacturing, chemical, energy, or industrial environments
- Familiarity with data from systems such as SAP, historians, or engineering systems
- Experience integrating Power Platform tools (Power Automate, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of data governance best practices
- Experience working with global or multi-site data environments
