Payments Technical Support Specialist

General Description:

Join our Payments Operations Team and make a difference providing seamless support to our growing network of partners. We're looking for a self-motivated and innovative Payments Support Specialist Americas to lead the payments support team overseeing live operations of our Ria, Xe and Dandelion services in North, Central, South America and Caribbean regions. The position leads support for back-office administration, partner lifecycle management, initiative management, and Zendesk data analytics.

The regional Support team manages all queries from partners and agents daily as part of a 24/7 global team. This position reports to the Regional Payments Technical Support Manager.

• Provide first level support to existing partners by resolving incidences in a timely fashion
• Detect anomalies & errors in the payment instructions delivery process.
• Monitors inbound/outbound global payments transactions flow.
• Resolve or escalating to additional functional teams.
• API Integration and maintenance.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for API configurations, workflows and troubleshooting steps.
• Ensure compliance with company security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct functional and regression testing.
• Work closely with developers, product teams and external vendors.
• Monitor support performance and create reports on integration status, issues and resolutions.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or related field.
• 3 years of experience in API integration, technical support, or similar.
• Experience in industries with complex regulatory, technical, or operational environments (Fintech, Money Transfer or Banking is a plus).
• Project management experience, familiar with financial accounting concepts
• Experience with API Integrations - Web Service, RESTful API, XML, JSON.
• In depth knowledge of Zendesk, Jira, Power BI is a plus.
• Understanding of programming languages (Java, Phyton, PHP).
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
• Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to influence and inform cross-functional and leadership teams.
• Experience with AI co-working tools (Claude, ChapGPT, NotebookLM) to transform processes is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish, excellent people skills and ability to influence commercial and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with payment gateways, financial integrations, security protocols and compliance standards is a plus.
