Senior Systems Engineer

GovCIO LLC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable infrastructure for federal customers. You'll lead architecture and deployment of cloud and on-prem systems, implement automation for provisioning and configuration, and ensure reliability, performance, and compliance. Partner with security, Dev Ops, and application teams to support mission-critical platforms, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide junior engineers. Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure for federal customers
• Lead system architecture decisions and provide technical guidance on infrastructure solutions
• Develop and maintain automation for provisioning, configuration, and deployments
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability
• Collaborate with security, Dev
• Ops, and application teams to support mission-critical platforms
• Ensure systems meet government security, compliance, and documentation standards
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices and technical standards
