Fathom Management is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer to support the FBI CJIS Division's Data Mesh architecture. This role will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise data management, data products, ETL pipelines, automation, data governance, and self-service analytics.

The Senior Cloud Developer will work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, data domain teams, and technical stakeholders within a SAFe Agile environment. The role combines AWS cloud development, data engineering, Dev Ops, Infrastructure as Code, cloud security, monitoring, and Data Mesh implementation.

The primary work location is remote. Contractors must be available to report to the FBI CJIS facility in Clarksburg, WV for equipment pickup and in-person meetings as required.

• 7+ years of AWS cloud development experience, with a focus on data engineering and Dev Ops.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services, including:
  • S3
  • Redshift
  • Glue
  • Lake Formation
  • Lambda
• Experience developing scalable ETL pipelines and cloud-based data infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Data Mesh architecture and decentralized data management principles.
• Strong understanding of data governance, including:
  • Data privacy

  • Metadata management
  • Data governance tooling
• Advanced scripting/programming experience using Python, Shell, Java, or similar technologies.
