Location: Rippon

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a Sign Language Interpreter for the school year to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in K-12 settings. In this onsite or virtual role, you will provide accurate, ethical ASL/English interpreting for classroom instruction, IEP meetings, assessments, and school events so students can fully access their education. You'll collaborate closely with special education teams in a mission-driven, student-focused culture that values inclusion, flexibility, and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, timely ASL/English interpreting for classroom instruction and school activities
  • Interpret for IEP meetings, assessments, and related student services
  • Adapt interpreting style to students' language level and communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student goals
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical interpreting standards
  • Use onsite or virtual platforms reliably for service delivery
  • Document services per district and Epic Special Education Staffing guidelines
  • Participate in trainings, supervision, and professional development offered by employer

Required Skills

  • American Sign Language (ASL) fluency
