What You’ll Be Doing
Job Summary:
Responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies supporting capital investments across chemical manufacturing facilities, including plant expansions, reliability and maintenance (R&M), HIPD, environmental compliance, and regulatory projects.
- Lead procurement activities from FEL‑1 through project closeout.
- Develop sourcing and contracting strategies.
- Manage bidding and negotiation for process equipment, tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, instrumentation, electrical equipment, EPC/EPCM services, and construction contracts.
- Support plant expansions, debottlenecking, and growth projects.
- Manage procurement for reliability, maintenance, turnaround, and asset integrity projects.
- Support HIPD and technology deployment initiatives.
- Lead compliance and regulatory project procurement.
- Develop supplier relationships and performance programs.
- Deliver cost savings, value engineering, and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate procurement reporting, forecasting, and project controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant industrial experience in Supply Chain Management specifically in Project Procurement.
- MBA preferred.
- CPSM, CPSD, PMP, or similar certification.
- Experience with EPC/EPCM contracting.
- Experience supporting capital portfolios exceeding $100MM annually.
