Lester, PA | Full-Time
This role involves conducting inspections of building sprinkler systems, including testing components, documenting results, and preparing inspection reports. The position supports the Lead Inspector and/or Inspection Manager by gathering inspection data and completing required documentation such as Sprinkler Inspection Reports, Quick Reports, and Inspection Certificates.
Key Responsibilities- Complete all assigned inspections accurately, thoroughly, and within required time frames.
- Test sprinkler system control panels, devices, and system functions, and record results using a handheld device.
- Upload inspection data after each job and prepare finalized sprinkler inspection reports.
- Attend and actively participate in monthly team meetings.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Current driver's license and clean driving record.
- Prior experience with sprinkler systems is required.
- NICET Level II preferred.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of NFPA standards related to fire protection system inspection and testing; stay up to date with code changes and pursue NICET certifications.
- Ability to perform hydrostatic testing, and pressure testing in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Skilled in the use of testing tools such as sensitivity testers, multimeters, battery analyzers, sound meters, and communication devices.
- Proficient with basic computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and handheld operating systems.
- Dependable and punctual, with an understanding that timely arrival is essential for completing inspections before tenant occupancy.
- Follow all company policies including the Code of Conduct, confidentiality requirements, and safety procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- Work environments include industrial, commercial, and residential sites with moderate to high noise levels and work at elevated heights.
- Physically active role involving extended periods of standing, walking, stair climbing, and ladder use.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Regular use of phones and computers throughout the workday.
