Thispositionsupportsthe University'sdailyoperationsbyperformingroutinecleaning,sanitation,andgeneralcustodialservicesinacademicbuildings,administrative offices,common areas,restrooms,andotherassignedcampusspaces.

The Custodianplaysanimportantroleinmaintainingtheoverallappearanceandfunctionalityofcampusfacilitieswhilecontributingtoapositiveexperienceforstudents,faculty,staff,and visitors.

Thispositionrequiresattentiontodetail,reliability,theabilitytoworkindependently,andacommitmenttomaintaining

Universitystandardsforcleanliness,safety,andfacilitycare.

Performdailycleaningandcustodialservicesinassignedcampusbuildingsandfacilities.

Sweep,mop,vacuum,scrub,andmaintainfloors,hallways,stairways,andotherdesignatedareas.

Cleanandsanitizeclassrooms,administrative offices,conference rooms,lounges,andcommonareas.

Cleananddis infect high-touch surfaces,includingdoorhandles,railings,desks,tables,andotherfrequentlyusedareas.

Emptytrashandrecyclingcontainersandtransportwastetodesignateddisposallocations.

Dustandcleanfurniture,fixtures,windowsills,andotheraccessiblesurfaces.

Cleaninteriorglass,doors,mirrors,andothersurfacesasassigned.

Maintaintheappearanceandcleanlinessofentrances,lobbies,andpublicareas.

Followestablishedcleaningschedulesandcompleteassignedtasksinatimelymanner.

Clean,disinfect,andmaintainrestroomsthroughoutassignedcampusfacilities.

Sanitize toilets,sinks,countertops,partitions,fixtures,andotherrestroomsurfaces.

Replenishrestroomsupplies,including soap,paper towels,toilet paper,andothernecessarymaterials.

Monitorrestroomconditionsandrespondtocleaningorsupplyneeds.

Reportplumbingconcerns,damaged fixtures,leaks,andothermaintenanceissues.

Followestablishedsanitationandinfection-prevention practices.

Maintainfloorsthroughsweeping,mopping,vacuuming,andotherappropriatecleaningmethods.

Assistwithperiodicfloorcare,including stripping,waxing,buffing,andcarpetcleaningwhentrainedandassigned.

Identifyandreportflooringdamage,spills,andpotentialsliportriphazards.

Maintainassignedareasinaclean,organized,andprofessionalcondition.

Supportseasonalorperiodicdeep-cleaning projects.

Assistwithcleaningandpreparationofcampusfacilitiesbeforeandafter University events.

Supportsetupandbreakdownoftables,chairs,andotherequipmentformeetings,ceremonies,athletic events,andspecialactivitiesasassigned.

Performadditionalcleaningassociatedwithhigh-trafficeventsorincreasedcampusactivity.

Assistwithclassroom,office,andfacilitytransitionswhenneeded.

Supportspecialcleaningprojectsduringacademicbreaks,summer periods,andotherscheduledmaintenancewindows.

Properly use,maintain,andstorecustodialtools,cleaning supplies,and equipment.

Monitorcleaningsupplylevelsandcommunicatereplenishmentneedstotheappropriatesupervisor.

Followmanufacturerinstructionsand Universityprocedureswhenusingcleaningchemicalsandequipment.

Properly label,handle,andstorecleaningproductsinaccordancewithapplicablesafetyrequirements.

Reportdamagedormalfunctioningcustodialequipment.

Maintaincustodialclosetsandstorageareasinaclean,organized,andsafecondition.

Followestablishedproceduresfortheuseofpersonalprotectiveequipment.…
