Criminal Justice Program Manager - DHS - Division of Administrative Services - Kanawha

Position Overview

The Criminal Justice Program Manager oversees implementation and administration of multiple federal and state grants, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and program goals. The role supervises a dedicated team, manages budgets, ensures adherence to reporting requirements, and collaborates with stakeholders to advance criminal justice initiatives.

• Oversee grant applications, renewals, modifications, and closeouts.
• Conduct workshops and assist in developing policy and protocols.
• Support and facilitate meetings and events for statewide committees, advisory boards, and task forces.
• Assist state, county, and non-profit agencies in developing programs and submitting grant applications.
• Assist agencies with familiarity of the criminal justice system and community training and development.
• Develop, implement, and monitor criminal justice programs addressing community needs and aligned with grant priorities.
• Prepare and submit timely reports to grantors, agency leadership, and other stakeholders.

Will perform other related duties as required.

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Six years of professional experience in grants development or administration, program planning, project administration, or criminal justice, including two years in a supervisory capacity.
• Master's degree may substitute for one year of non-supervisory experience.
