The Propane Department/HVAC Manager is a key management position that will oversee and manage the daily operation of a Propane Department that also provides residential HVAC maintenance and installations, provide technical expertise and leadership to develop and lead a high-performing team. Implement strategic initiatives to meet or exceed sales, margin, and growth objectives, while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Implement strategic initiatives to meet or exceed sales, margin, and growth objectives, while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations for the energy department
• Lead and provide guidance to the energy team
• Execute a strategic petroleum/HVAC operations plan
• Conduct all monthly and annual bulk and storage plant inspections
• Oversee energy operations including receiving, inventory integrity, and customer deliveries.
• Responsible for fleet asset management and DOT requirements.
• Execute staffing plans that accommodate seasonal volume changes
• Identify and remove obstacles to ensure team efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness
• Handle various office functions including billing, receiving, payables and payroll for the department.

• Education:
  
  Requires a bachelor’s degree in business management or related field. A combination of completed coursework and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience:
  
  Minium of 3 years of related experience in propane, petroleum or related industry. Requires a minimum of one (1) year in a leadership role. Prefer previous experience managing daily business operations.
• Licensing & Certification:
  Requires valid Driver's License. CDL / hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain), Petroleum and/or Propane Certification (or ability to obtain), Master HVAC or Master Plumbing License (or ability to obtain), CTEP training/ proctor (or ability to obtain)
