Lead Quarry Maintenance Mechanic

We are hiring a Lead Shift Maintenance Mechanic to support quarry operations for one of our clients in the construction materials industry. This role leads shift-based maintenance activities, oversees equipment reliability, and ensures safe and efficient plant operations.

• Lead and supervise maintenance mechanics during assigned shifts
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair quarry equipment such as crushers, conveyors, and heavy machinery
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Maintain maintenance records, inspections, and parts inventory
• Coordinate with site leadership to prioritize repair schedules
• Train and mentor maintenance team members
• Respond to urgent equipment issues and coordinate emergency repairs
• Promote a strong safety culture and report unsafe conditions

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of industrial or heavy-equipment maintenance experience
• Experience leading or supervising maintenance teams
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Familiarity with quarry or industrial equipment preferred
• Effective communication and organizational skills

• Ability to safely perform job duties in an industrial outdoor environment
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
