Shift Supervisor / Shift Manager / Operations Supervisor, Chemical Manufacturing Job Summary

Leading Chemical Manufacturer seek exceptional hands on Shift Supervisor / Shift Manager,/ Operations Supervisor to serve as the senior operational leader on shift at a new, continuous-operation chemical manufacturing facility. This role is critical to establishing safe, reliable, and disciplined plant operations while mentoring operators as the site ramps to full production.

The successful candidate brings strong technical depth in chemical processing and utilities, combined with proven supervisory leadership. This individual will guide operators, troubleshoot process issues, partner with maintenance and engineering, and reinforce a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement in a startup environment.

Up to $140,000 base salary, plus annual bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance.

• Lead all shift-based production activities in a 24/7 rotating shift operation
• Act as senior on-shift authority for safety, process decisions, and escalation
• Supervise and develop Process Operators, reinforcing operating discipline and procedural compliance
• Apply hands-on technical expertise to troubleshoot process and equipment issues
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to prioritize work and support autonomous maintenance
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Support startup activities, training, and the establishment of standard operating practices
• Lead emergency response actions and maintain accurate shift documentation
• High School Diploma (Degree is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in chemical processing, petrochemical, power generation, or hazardous manufacturing.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts in a continuous operation environment.
