CompensationStarting pay of $22.02/hr up to top pay of $31.46/hr quarterly gain sharing bonus potential. Additional $2.50/hr shift differential for off‑shifts.
What You Drive at DTNA- Perform physically demanding warehouse duties including repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures.
- Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput.
- Remove old and damaged pallets from warehouse racking to trailer.
- Remove old and damaged pallets from warehouse floor to trailer.
- Prepare and stage returnable containers for use.
- Operate power vehicles such as a forklift, reach truck and order picker to a height of 24 feet.
- Safely operate and / or work in the vicinity of many types of equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks, propane powered lifts, battery changing equipment, electric carousels, conveyor lines, heavy duty pneumatic staple guns, compactors, dock levelers, etc. without risk to self or other employees.
- Communicate effectively with others within and outside the work group.
- Assist with 5S and cleaning standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals and ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Operation of Voice Directed Picking Equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
PIV experience such as Forklift, Reach Truck or Order Picker. Previous warehouse experience. Capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting tools. Able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 75 pounds. Maintain a clean work area. Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures. Cross train on other jobs as required.
ExceptionalCandidates Might Have
- Previous experience in manufacturing/distribution (automotive/trucking) environment.
- High School Diploma / GED and further college education a plus.
This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s) – Swedesboro, NJ US. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
