LocationOn‑site at the Hot Strip Mill in Mason County, WV.
Job TitleHot Mill Process Engineer
Responsibilities- Support decision making in operations and maintenance of the Hot Strip Mill and related equipment.
- Develop and implement process improvements to optimize manufacturing of steel sheets and meet customer‑specific high‑end quality requirements.
- Use data integration and statistical analysis to monitor and analyze rolling processes and equipment conditions, driving maintenance, improvements, and upgrades.
- Conduct technical training for the Hot Mill team to ensure safe, efficient operation and high‑quality steel production.
- Lead process improvement, quality, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Maintain and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Four‑year degree in Mechanical, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a directly related field.
- Three years of heavy‑industry experience in engineering process support for hot mill production.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Experience with ibaPDA and iba Analyzer software.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams.
