Machine and Production Operator
The Machine and Production Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting production machinery to ensure efficient manufacturing processes and high-quality output. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to identify and resolve issues in real time. Operators play a critical role in maintaining productivity and ensuring that products meet established quality specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
- Set up machines with required parameters and adjust settings as needed to maintain optimal performance.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Document production activities, equipment performance, and quality control results.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Report mechanical issues or deviations in product quality promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in machine operation or production environments.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control practices.
- Communication ability to clearly report issues and collaborate with team members.
- Active Learning willingness to adapt to new machinery, processes, and technologies.
- Machine Operation proficiency in operating and adjusting production equipment.
- Quality Control ability to assess materials and products against standards.
- Safety Compliance knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures.
- Experience with automated or digital manufacturing systems.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to train new operators and share best practices.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
