Salary Range: $24.86 - $28.10 Hourly
This role is responsible for assigning work, monitoring progress, training team members, and serving as a key liaison between production and other departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations on the production floor to ensure schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Assign personnel and delegate tasks to ensure efficient production of parts and vending machines.
- Interpret engineering specifications, job orders, and production prints and communicate clear instructions to team members.
- Train new team members on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Monitor and support team performance while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
- Load daily production data into the production tracker and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely issue resolution.
- Confer regularly with managers and other team leads to coordinate operations and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Complete and submit the department's shortage list by noon daily.
- Collect and review daily production logs, entering the data into the appropriate manufacturing files.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area; ensure trash is removed daily.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 plus years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and production tracking tools.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or multiple shifts as needed.
