This role is responsible for assigning work, monitoring progress, training team members, and serving as a key liaison between production and other departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations on the production floor to ensure schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Assign personnel and delegate tasks to ensure efficient production of parts and vending machines.
  • Interpret engineering specifications, job orders, and production prints and communicate clear instructions to team members.
  • Train new team members on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor and support team performance while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
  • Load daily production data into the production tracker and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely issue resolution.
  • Confer regularly with managers and other team leads to coordinate operations and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Complete and submit the department's shortage list by noon daily.
  • Collect and review daily production logs, entering the data into the appropriate manufacturing files.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area; ensure trash is removed daily.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 plus years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and production tracking tools.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or multiple shifts as needed.
