Summary/Objective:
The TF CNC Operator 1 is capable of fully operating all of DALBs CNC 5 axis machines to produce machined parts that meet specific drawing and quality requirements. This role will be capable of creating CNC tools, setting up the machines, making adjustments, troubleshooting, and completing tool changes for all CNC equipment. This positions is generally stationed at a primary machine, but can operate all CNC equipment to meet production requirements.
This role will also be asked to assist training new and existing employees.
Essential Functions:
Full ability to setup, operate, adjust, and change tools on all 5 Axis cutting equipment. Safely performs all fabrication and finishing steps efficiently. Capable to execute all CNC equipment workflow processes. Performs in line assembly and packaging. Certified forklift operator. Perform proper calibration procedures as needed Read and understand manufacturing orders and the dispatch list. Maintain equipment operating documentation Ability to suggest methods to reduce setup time and machining through process improvements Understands, interprets and edits G-code Programming Document daily scrap Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working order and are free of safety hazards.
Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed. Communicates safety and maintenance issues to supervisor Assists in training of new employees Analyze engineering drawings and manufacturing orders Examine parts for defects and measure parts to ensure conformance with specifications Assist in maintaining tools, gauges and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner Troubleshoot machine errors and inconsistencies and adjust machine settings accordingly to fix errors Cooperate with representatives from other departments in the organization to provide fabrication information and solutions as requested Fill in for other operators during breaks, absences, etc.
Label parts and accurately perform traceability and backflush processes. Any additional duties as assigned

Ability to read, comprehend, and recommunicate Ability to accurately operate a calculator.
