Utility Operator

Amrize, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Utility Operator to support operations at the quarry located in Millville, WV. This position is primarily responsible to safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport raw materials (such as rock, gravel, and other aggregates) within the quarry site.

Operate and monitor quarry equipment such as loaders, conveyors, crushers, and screening systems. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation. Assist with plant operations including material handling, stockpiling, and feeding raw materials into processing equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing housekeeping duties around the plant and quarry site. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and MSHA regulations while working on site.

Support production teams by assisting with equipment startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting operational issues. Use heavy equipment such as front-end loaders or skid steers to move aggregate and other materials as needed. Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations and production targets are met.
