Role Description The Packer role is a full-time, on-site position located in Triadelphia, West Virginia. This role is responsible for carefully packing finished plastic products according to customer specifications and company quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting products for defects, counting and sorting items, placing products into appropriate containers, and labeling, sealing, and stacking boxes for shipment. The Packer will follow established safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and work closely with production team members and supervisors to ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment.
This position may involve standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with production goals.
- Has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all the duties listed below;
- Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are collected into storage boxes and are counted correctly.
- Ensure parts packed into storage boxes are in adherence to the required stack pattern
- Identify nonconformities and inform the Shift QA.
- Evaluate product to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards.
- Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns..
- Tape boxes shut, label the boxes, and stack for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
