SummaryThe Production Associate is responsible for producing high-quality products in a timely and safe manner, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures. This third‑shift role (Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM-6:00 AM) involves performing shipping functions, inspecting products and materials for quality, operating and adjusting equipment, and managing inventory in SAP. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Carry out shipping functions for finished goods and miscellaneous items in accordance with the SAP inventory management system.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or shortages to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Start up and shut down equipment and machinery, and adjust settings as required.
- Inspect products and materials to ensure quality.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP-related issues.
- Satisfactorily meet customer requirements.
- Notify the Team Leader of any abnormalities in product or machinery promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management or the Team Leader.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, which include IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, and safety related policies.
- Must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexible to work overtime, often with short notice, and to adapt to shift work.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or vocational/technical certification preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in operating electrical and mechanical manufacturing machinery preferred.
- Inventory control experience is a plus.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and 75 lbs. with assistance.
- Capable of standing or sitting for long periods and performing repetitive motions.
- This position may require working in a manufacturing environment.
