Manufacturing and Assembly Operator

Join us in development and production of some of the worlds most advanced underwater sensors used for monitoring marine life and man‑made noise in the ocean. You will be working with a highly competent team at KONGSBERG and be involved in production, testing and the continuous development of our products.

• Assembly and installation of underwater sensor systems
• Manufacturing of prototype components in a mechanical workshop
• Mechanical fitting, machining, and fine‑tuning of components
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes
• Collaborate with the R&D department and engineers

• Trade certificate as an Industrial Mechanic (or an equivalent relevant vocational qualification)
• Experience from mechanical manufacturing or a workshop environment is an advantage
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong technical understanding and practical hands‑on skills

• Be accurate and quality‑conscious
• Be structured and solution‑oriented
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Interest in technology and mechanical systems
