Location: Ranson

Machine Technician – Kearneysville, WV 25430

Schedule:

6AM – 6PM (2-2-3 schedule). Pay: $22 per hour.

About the Role

Machine technicians operate, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic preventive maintenance on assigned machinery to support high-quality product flow on the production line. They comply with safety and environmental regulations and work under the direction of the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain assigned machines to meet production and quality standards.
  • Clean, calibrate, and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Execute preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Support continuous improvement and operational uptime.
  • Ensure the production line remains clean and organized.
  • Perform quality tests using specialized lab equipment.
  • Adhere to established quality and environmental standards and report potential risks.
  • Maintain smooth product flow and adjust production as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, aggregate, or industrial setting with automated equipment.
  • Machine operating experience, including cleaning, calibrating, and performing basic maintenance.
  • Mechanical mindset and ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Ability to work around high‑heat industrial equipment.
  • Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to train, develop new hires, and grow into a Key Technician role.
  • Experience using powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, problem‑solving, and data integrity skills.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours).
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work around moving equipment.
