Job Description Production Associate 1
Starting Pay: $17 per hour, plus $2 per hour shift differential.
Night Shift7:00 pm start.
Responsibilities- Operate various hand tools to manually build window units.
- Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks.
- Move carts in and out of the production work area.
- Operate various types of saws to cut wood for mull units and punch‑press dies.
- Apply hardware to units with the appropriate tooling.
- Operate stretch‑wrapping equipment.
- Utilize production reports to assist in production planning.
- Perform quality audits and engage in problem‑solving activities to resolve issues.
- Observe applicable safety, health, and environmental guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Participate in cross‑rotation with other operators as needed.
- Support the cross‑training initiative by assisting other employees with training as required.
- Perform all other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32”.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Capability to use computerized equipment.
- Lift 50 pounds continually, including above shoulder height and below the waist.
- Stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for extended periods.
- Move carts in and out of production areas.
