Production Associate Night Shift - Pennsboro

Job Description Production Associate 1

Starting Pay: $17 per hour, plus $2 per hour shift differential.

7:00 pm start.

• Operate various hand tools to manually build window units.
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks.
• Move carts in and out of the production work area.
• Operate various types of saws to cut wood for mull units and punch‑press dies.
• Apply hardware to units with the appropriate tooling.
• Operate stretch‑wrapping equipment.
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning.
• Perform quality audits and engage in problem‑solving activities to resolve issues.
• Observe applicable safety, health, and environmental guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Participate in cross‑rotation with other operators as needed.
• Support the cross‑training initiative by assisting other employees with training as required.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32”.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Capability to use computerized equipment.

• Lift 50 pounds continually, including above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for extended periods.
• Move carts in and out of production areas.
