Salary Range: $19.00 To $23.00 Hourly

This position involves the precise fitting, aligning, and welding of structural steel components. The role requires heavy experience reading and interpreting blueprints.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding and fitting requirements.
• Fit and assemble structural steel components using measuring tools, clamps, and welding equipment.
• Perform FCAW and MIG welding to join steel parts according to industry standards.
• Inspect welded joints and structural assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience as a structural steel welder or fitter in a construction or fabrication environment.
• Experience working with heavy structural steel
• Experience with FCAW Welding
• Commitment to safe work

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
• Lift and carry materials or tools weighing up to 50+ pounds
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots as required.
