As a forklift operator, you will support operations to meet the needs of the factory, ensuring products are packaged to specifications. Position blends work on and off the forklift and operators are continuously developed through training on warehouse equipment, to complete their work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Will efficiently load and unload products and materials from pallets, skids, platforms, trucks, lifting devices or other transport sources. Must handle finished product with care to ensure no damage is caused and that products are accurately labelled. Must follow inventory management processes to account for product location and distribution and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors as needed. Will maintain working equipment which may require basic troubleshooting and act as a first line of defense against mechanical and technical issues.
Must hit key performance metrics while working within a team-oriented and fast-paced environment to ensure the correct product volumes are produced.
Must have at least 6 months of forklift, experience in a continuous flow manufacturing or industrial environment. Must have strong desire to grow with the company and train/develop new hires Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and/or up to 120 pounds with another person
Must be fine working alongside moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dust, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures and workspace restrictions
PAY:
Pay starts at $20.00
HOURS:
6am-6pm on a 2-2-3 schedule#ISS
