Precision CNC Lathe​/Mill Operator – Blueprint & Metrology Specialist

Step into a shift where precision drives everything you do. You’ll begin by reviewing prints, lining up materials, and dialing in CNC lathes and mills so every cut meets spec. Along the way, you’ll collaborate with quality and maintenance, document your results, and keep your cell organized with strong 5S habits. Starting pay is $27.25/hr and requires completion of 9 month machining training program or equivalent.

A Day in the Role Set up and run CNC lathes, mills, and related equipment to produce quality parts.

Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to configure machines correctly.

Load materials, monitor cutting conditions, and maintain throughput and quality.

Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to validate dimensions and surface finishes.

Adjust offsets, perform routine tool changes, and fine-tune processes as needed.

Spot and report nonconformances, equipment issues, and improvement opportunities.

Complete accurate production and inspection records every run.

Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.

Keep the work area clean and organized per 5S and housekeeping standards.

Coordinate with supervisors, quality, and maintenance to hit production targets.

What You Bring High school diploma or GED.Background in CNC or manufacturing preferred; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

Ability to read prints and follow written instructions with care and accuracy.

Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools.

Foundational knowledge of machining, tooling, and quality requirements.

Strong attention to detail, solid problem-solving, and clear verbal communication.

A collaborative mindset and ability to work independently when needed.

Physical Demands Standing and walking for long periods on the production floor.

Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of components and materials.

Comfort working around machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.

Schedule Full-time role.

Overtime and weekend work as production needs arise.

Compensation & Growth Starting pay is $27.25/hr and requires completion of 9 month machining training program or equivalent.
