Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC) Benevolent Fund Charity – Communications & Events Manager
An exciting opportunity to join the DMRC Benevolent Fund and help support the rehabilitation of injured serving personnel. We’re looking for a proactive Communications & Events Manager to lead our events, stakeholder engagement and volunteer activity.
Location: Predominantly DMRC Stanford Hall with travel to stakeholders as required.
Contract: Permanent with position review every 3 years.
Leave: 17 days per year plus usual bank holidays (England)
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver fundraising and promotional events
- Manage charity communications across social media, website and stakeholder networks
- Build strong relationships with beneficiaries, supporters and partners
- Oversee and support our volunteer team
- Work closely with the Ops Manager and Trustees to provide updates and insight
- You’ll have a strong understanding of DMRC and Defence Rehabilitation (essential)
- Experienced in the charity sector and fundraising regulations
- Possess excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- A confident event planner with strong organisational ability
- Proficient with social media and Microsoft Office
