Adelphi is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing services in a school-based setting located in Romney, West Virginia.

The ideal candidate will work closely with school administration to provide services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.

  Mon-Fri 8 hours a day (Day shift, Evening shift, Night shift & some Weekend shifts: up to 12 hrs)

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in West Virginia.
• Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of clinical experience preferred.
• Pediatric, school-based, or community health experience preferred.
• Ability to meet background and clearance requirements.

• Provide direct nursing care during assigned shifts (day, evening, overnight, weekend, holiday, or overtime as required).
• Assess and treat student illnesses and injuries.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, and maintain medication logs and student health records.
• Monitor students with chronic medical conditions.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns.
• Assist with implementation of care plans, support infection control and public health protocols.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Document services accurately and in a timely manner.
• Comply with all district, state, and federal policies.
• Maintain professional ethical standards.
