About the Position
Adelphi is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (BSN) to provide comprehensive nursing services in a school-based setting located in Romney, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will work closely with school administration to provide services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.

Mon-Fri 8 hours a day (Day shift, Evening shift, Night shift & some Weekend shifts: up to 12 hrs)
Rate: $ 50
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in West Virginia.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience (pediatric or school-based experience preferred).
Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
Knowledge of public health principles, growth and development, and wellness practices.
Ability to pass background check and meet all school district clearance requirements.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to students including assessment, triage, and treatment of illness or injury.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely student health records and documentation.
Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans and emergency action plans.
Coordinate care with physicians, families, and school personnel.
Conduct health screenings and monitor immunization compliance.
Support students with chronic health conditions and special medical needs.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide health-related recommendations.
Provide health education and promote wellness initiatives, ensure compliance with Medicaid billing, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards (if applicable).
Supervise assigned nursing staff as applicable, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA, HIPAA, and district policies.
Participate in professional development and training activities.
Any other duties as assigned.
