Overview
We are offering a five thousand dollar sign‑on bonus. Sub‑Acute, Long‑Term Care is a sector of healthcare exploding with potential and work‑life balance flexibility (no on call or weekends). We are seeking a full‑time (40 hours per week) Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for float positions among several of our centers located in southern West Virginia (cities include Beckley, Daniels, Hilltop, Oak Hill, Ansted, and White Sulphur Springs).
The base salary range for this position is $110,000 – $114,700 per year.

Responsibilities- The Advanced Practice Wound Provider reports directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager.
- Collaborates on‑site with the Center Leadership Team for center‑specific goals and priorities.
- Works with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician to deliver patient‑specific medical care.
- Provides acute and chronic wound care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with other medical providers.
- Works collaboratively with Center Leadership to achieve the Center’s mission of improving lives through high‑quality health care and compassion.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program, licensed as a registered nurse.
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and a concentration in Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP); other concentrations may be considered based on experience and business need.
- For physicians assistants: graduate from an ARC‑PA accredited program, pass the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE), hold state licensure, and hold NCCPA certification.
- Wound certification: CWS, WOCN, or equivalent; or actively pursuing wound certification with APN wound experience.
- Minimum of two years experience in wound care with the adult or geriatric population is preferred.
- Where practice allows, an unrestricted professional license and DEA (for APRNs) or a state license and DEA (for PAs) for each state in which they practice.
