General Description
Assist chart review, audits, and data entry responsibilities for the Compliance Office and other areas assigned. Ensure compliance with state, federal and governing agencies in the areas of assignment. Provide support for the department assigned, including but not limited to filing, typing, data entry into various databases. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. This is a tobacco free campus.
Applicants selected must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in bureau and agency polices. Applicants selected must successfully complete a background check.
This position is eligible for an appointment incentive of $12,500.00 to the selected applicant who agrees to work for the facility for a minimum period of twelve (12) months.

Licensure/
Certifications:
Current West Virginia license to practice as a registered nurse.
Experience:
Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as a Registered Nurse.
Internal Applicants Only:
One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as a Registered Nurse.

Sharpe, Jr. Hospital holds accreditation from The Joint Commission and certification by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS). The hospital offers a wide range of services to patients either committed to the hospital through civil commitment or, in the case of forensic patients, ordered through the judicial system.
Through ongoing collaboration with West Virginia University's Department of Behavioral Medicine & Psychiatry, a variety of medical and clinical professionals partner with the hospital's own staff to work diligently with patients to achieve a smooth transition back to the community after discharge.
