Description:
Minimum of two years of current experience in a similar role is required. Candidates must possess hospital experience. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. Experience with Meditech EMR is essential. Candidates must hold an AHA BLS certification. A valid LPN license from the state or compact license is required. Floating within scope of practice is necessary. Candidates must be available to work every other weekend.
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility to be considered. The assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of accepting the offer. All facilities work on a 36/48 scheduling basis for the two-week pay period. Ratios may fluctuate based on patient census and other factors. Orientation is conducted bi-weekly. Resource must complete orientation, which is set at 16 hours.
References are required, including one from a charge nurse or higher, and one from a supervisor. Candidates must have experience in a medical surgical unit with relevant skills. Essential skills include patient admissions, IV management, medication administration, and wound care. Candidates must be adept in vital signs monitoring and patient assessment and management. Additional requirements include compliance with health and safety protocols, including isolation precautions.
Candidates must be willing to work various shifts as required, including potential float assignments.
