Registered Nurse – Operating Room

$2040.00/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures within the operating room setting. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Operate and monitor anesthesia equipment during procedures, adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff with sterile procedures and instrumentation.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to intraoperative changes.
• Document all nursing interventions, observations, and patient responses accurately.
• Facilitate patient recovery in the PACU or post-anesthesia care unit.

Qualifications:

• Valid WV or Compact RN license; pending licenses accepted for submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
• Must have a permanent address >100 miles from the facility; candidates within 75–99 miles considered case-by-case.
