Weekend Registered Nurse Supervisor

Salem Center, a Genesis Health Care skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Salem, NJ, seeks a Weekend Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical care and weekend operations. In this resident-centered role, you'll oversee nursing staff, coordinate care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and support safe, high-quality outcomes. You will mentor nurses and CNAs, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, manage admits/ discharges, respond to changes in condition, and communicate with residents and families, while promoting dignity, respect, and clinical excellence in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff on weekend shifts to ensure high-quality resident care
• Oversee assessments, care plans, and clinical interventions for skilled nursing and long-term care residents
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring accurate documentation and communication
• Monitor resident conditions, respond to emergencies, and communicate changes to providers and families
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Genesis Health
• Care policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote resident recovery, wellness, and quality of life
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to nurses and CNAs to support professional growth
• Manage medication administration, treatments, and specialized clinical services per provider orders
• Promote a resident-centered, safe, and respectful environment aligned with facility values
• Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes
